ILOILO City – A suspected gun runner – also a drug pushing suspect – was arrested in an entrapment operation in Barangay Libertad, Banate Iloilo.
Resurrection Lagradante was a resident of Barangay Belen, Banate. At around 3 p.m. on Jan. 20, he yielded two .22 revolvers.
The operation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Banate police station.
An undercover police officer bought from the suspect two guns for P8,500.
“Madamo nagaprenda sa iya baylo sang droga, amo na guro damo sia pusil,” said Police Master Sergeant Joelito Babayo of the Banate police station.
Cops also recovered four sachets of suspected shabu.
Lagradante faces two charges – illegal possession of firearms and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
The CIDG took him in custody./PN
