ILOILO – Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) “Palibosfer” has already identified several suspects in the killing of three young businessmen in Barangay Villa Pani-an, Estancia town on Sept. 14.

Charges will be filed soon, according to Police Senior Master Sergeant Francisco Lindero Jr., public information officer of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) and SITG spokesperson.

He, however, declined to identify the suspects.

SITG Palibosfer stands for “Parohinog-Libao-Bosque-Fernandes”, the family names of lone survivor Jevron Parohinog and the three fatalities – Jan Paul Mark Bosque, Chrysler Floyd Fernandes and Mark Clarenz Libao.

Lindero said the SITG has also established a motive in the crime but he declined to elaborate pending the complete compilation of important documents needed for the filing of charges.

Parohinog had told the police that he and the three fatalities were onboard a white Isuzu MUX when attacked by motorcycle-riding gunmen around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 14.

Parohinog, who is still in the custody of the Estancia police station, is considered at this time as both a witness and a person of interest./PN
