ILOILO City – An estimated P884,000 for 130 grams of suspected shabu were recovered from two high-value suspects in a police drug operation in Barangay Kauswagan, Iloilo City Proper.
Juvy G. Fajutar, 43, of Barangay Sinikway, Lapuz was the main target, and with him was June Rey Q. Bartolome, 36, of Barangay San Nicolas, La Paz.
The operation on Wednesday afternoon was carried out by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU-6) and the Iloilo City Police Station (ICPS) 1-Station Drug Enforcement Team.
Police Captain Glenn A. Soliman of the RPDEU-6 said Juvy was the suspected distributor.
“May naga-supply sa ila pero wala ta pa mabal-an kung diin dampi nga presuhan, amo na ila nga modus. Si Juvy amo gid ni ang naga-distribute kag si June naman ang isa sa naga-tago,” said Soliman in an interview with Radyo Bandera Iloilo. “May motor sila nga ginagamit but subong kay grabe ulan, nag-commute sila kag natigayon naton ang transaksyon.”
The suspects are now in the custody of the ICPS-1 for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
