ILOILO City – A bicyclist died. A sport utility vehicle (SUV) hit him along the national highway of Barangay Poblacion Ilaud, Zarraga, Iloilo on Monday afternoon.
Police identified the fatality as Ever Tabaniag of the town’s Barangay Tuburan.
Meanwhile, SUV driver Naci John Trance of Barangay Sambag, Zarraga was detained at the municipal police station.
Charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide would be filed against him./PN
