COMPELLED by passion of the hands and the
heart. All-eyes in wheeling towards a humble purpose. Foreheads high, souls swelling with local
pride. A journey in fulfillment of a
promise. Filling in the spaces as the world sends its warmest praises.
The heart of Tahum, a Pop Up Festival shaped
by local artisans, is a passion project that is all about loving, promoting,
and supporting Filipinos. It is the first-ever curated all-Filipino themed Pop
Up event in Western Visayas with an assemblage of over 80 exhibitors from across
the country. Artisans from Manila, Cebu, Bacolod, Antique, Aklan, Bohol, Capiz
and Iloilo have found their common denominator: the warmth of their crafts in
Tahum.
Love
local, support a scholar
Fueled by the mission to support and
promote the artistry and craftsmanship of local artisans and pursue the dreams
of beneficiaries through scholarship, and the vision to be the premier pop-up
festival in the region where artisans and clients meet to celebrate love for
local, Tahum builds a one-to-many relationship where aspirations of all sorts converge
in it.
The proceeds of this noble initiative will
support six-year full scholarships to select financially-challenged dreamers of
education.
