BACOLOD City – Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P23,800 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 10, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Policemen of Talisay City staged the entrapment operation that led to the arrest of 37-year-old Antonio Dela Peña around 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 15.
Prior to his apprehension, Dela Peña sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
