BACOLOD City – A 20-year-old man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok De la Rama, Barangay Zone 4A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Monday, July 1.
Geovannie Nerval Jr., a resident of the city’s Filipina Bukid, Barangay Zone 11, yielded six plastic sachets of suspected shabu valued at approximately P10,200.
Officers of the Talisay City Police Station also recovered a caliber .38 revolver.
Nerval was taken into custody by the Talisay City Police Station.
He will be charged for violating Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Acts of 2002) and RA 10591 (Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act)./PN
