BACOLOD City – He was listed as the most wanted person in the police station of the Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 30-year-old Jomar Vergara of Hacienda Vista 1 in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City was nabbed on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Vergara was in his house when police served him a warrant of arrest in relation to the rape charge he faces, the report added.
Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Regional Trial Court Branch 44 in Bacolod City issued the warrant dated Nov. 21, 2019.
Vergara was detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
