BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 4, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old Gregory Fernandez was nabbed around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
The subject of the sting operation was Fernandez’s 35-year-old brother Mark, who managed to evade arrest.
Mark took with him their drug supply, police said.
The police only recovered from Fernandez a sachet of suspected shabu he and his brother sold to a poseur-buyer for P300.
Fernandez was detained in the Talisay City police station lockup facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Charges for violation of RA 9165 were also filed against Mark./PN
