BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead at a store in Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 26-year-old resident Argie Santillan sustained gunshot wound and injuries on the head, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspects as 40-year-old resident Roger and his 38-year-old brother Christopher Jimenez.
Police investigators said a heated argument ensued between Roger and Santillan around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday. A commotion followed.
This prompted Christopher to struck Santillan with beer bottle on the head, the report added.
Roger allegedly shot Santillan on the mouth.
Santillan was brought to the Talisay City Health office where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
It was not immediately established what caused the altercation.
Meanwhile, police conducted a manhunt operation against Jimenez brothers, who fled after the incident./PN
