BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 4-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 51-year-old Virgilio Buenaflor was a resident of the village, police said.
Prior to his apprehension, Buenaflor allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer for P300.
Eight more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized during his arrest around 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 10.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
