BACOLOD City – A man was found dead in Sitio Mambucano in Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Rogelio Ducay sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the back of his head, a police report showed.
Residents found Ducay in a vacant a lot just meters away from his house around 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 15.
The victim was rushed to the Talisay City Health Office but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
From what the Talisay police gathered so far, Ducay could have been shot inside his house as bloodstains were seen inside the comfort room. His personal belongings were also in disarray.
Recovered from the crime scene were three spent shells and a slug of an unknown firearm, a bladed weapon with bloodstains, two clothes with bloodstains, and a motorcycle.
As of this writing, police officers have yet to identify the suspect/suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
