BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 4-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
He was Carl Angelo Mongado, 26, a resident of the village, a police report showed.
Prior to his apprehension, Mongado allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
Two more sachets of the prohibited substance and an improvised shotgun, or sulpak, were seized during Mongado’s arrest around 9:20 p.m. on Nov. 19.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and
Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
