ILOILO City – A village watchman (barangay tanod) in Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district was robbed while sleeping.
The robber divested the house of Eddie, Navajas, 34, of an eight-gigabyte flash drive, a calculator, a two-gigabyte memory card and P200 cash.
Noise from the other room awakened him around 4:20 a.m. on July 7, said Navajas. He checked what was happening and saw a man fleeing through the window.
Navajas’ brother, Juvy, 36, later discovered that his two cellphones, a silver bracelet, gold earring and P5,000 cash were gone, too. The total value of the loot reached P13,000.
