ILOILO City – A barangay tanod (village watchman) landed in a hospital after getting stabbed.
The 37-year-old Noel Samones of Barangay San Ramon, Anini-y, Antique was taken to the President Diosdado Macapagal District Hospital in Tobias Fornier town for treatment, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as Ronaldo Aguillon, a farmer from the same barangay.
Aguillon fled to an unknown direction along with the weapon used after the incident, police said, citing witnesses.
