BACOLOD City – A suspected illegal drug dealer was arrested in his house in Barangay 35.

Esteben “Tarzan” Belonio, 40, was No. 1 in the watch list of drug personalities in Police Station 1 and one of the station’s most wanted persons.

He was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

On Sunday, police served him an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 47 Judge Therese Blanche A. Bolunia on July 15, 2016 yet.

Upon his arrest, officers seized from the suspect two plastic packs of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Detained in the Police Station 1 lockup cell, Belonio will be further charged for possession of prohibited drugs and drug paraphernalia, said Senior Inspector Eugene Tolentino, station commander./PN
