ILOILO City – Fresh from achieving its dominant leadership position in Mindanao, currently being embraced by key cities such as Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Iligan, hirna is now set to offer its innovative ride hailing app in Western Visayas.
The country’s premier taxi hailing app was launched in Iloilo City and Bacolod City on July 26 and July 27, respectively.
“We are really excited to improve the quality of lives of the commuters in Iloilo and Bacolod. With the launch in these key cities, our vision of uplifting the Pinoys’ taxi ride experience continue to be realized,” said Francisco “Coco” Mauricio, hirna president and CEO.
The largest taxi operators associations in the region have partnered with hirna for its operations: the Association of Taxi Operators in Panay (ATOP) for Iloilo City and the Taxi Operators of Negros Occidental (TONO) for Bacolod City.
“We have looked for a reliable, technologically superior and affordable ride hailing app for some time now… and now the search is over with hirna’s entry in Iloilo”, said ATOP President Perfecto Yap.
“We have heard about their success in Mindanao and the hirna team came across as credible and sincere partners. We look forward to a strong and long term relationship here in Bacolod” added TONO President Mario Eusebio.
“For now, we have around 500 taxis in Iloilo and 400 taxis in Bacolod as part of the hirna network. We expect this figure to increase when advertising efforts and word of mouth awareness kicks in. People in Western Visayas will quickly learn to love and embrace hirna, just like in other cities,” Mauricio further stated.
Hirna provides passengers a lot of features to ensure safety and convenience. These include a “Track My Ride” function, a Driver and Vehicle Rating System, In-app Messaging, Push Banner Alerts and a whole lot more. hirna even has a live customer service support to ensure that anyone can book a ride, even those without smart phones.
