ILOILO City – In Barangay M.H. del Pilar, Jaro district, a maintenance man of GDR Taxi company was stabbed on the body.
The 37-year-old resident Rodel Hermano was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center.
Police identified the suspect as the 29-year-old trisikad driver Rafael Coronado of Barangay Cubay, Jaro. He used a knife, a police report showed.
Prior to the incident around 8 p.m. on Aug. 26, Hermano and Coronado had a misunderstanding, police said.
Coronado fled after the stabbing. Police were still looking for him as of this writing./PN
