ILOILO City – Her neighbors accused a teacher in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district of reporting them to the police for singing videoke.
The 22-year-old Gene Rose Olbedo reported to the police that her neighbors Edwin Muelan and Larry Muelan threatened her.
An officer from the Jaro police station arrived at the house of the Muelans at around 11:30 p.m. on April 1 and told them to stop singing videoke already, Olbedo said in a police report.
The Muelans suspected that she was the one who reported them to the police, said the teacher.
A few minutes after the police left, the Muelans went to her house. Edwin Muelan yelled at her, “Was-agon ko ang poso negro (I’m going to destroy your septic tank)!”
Larry Muelan, on the other hand, shouted, “Basi sunugon ko ang balay niyo kag palukpan kamo! Sin-o isog, gwa da (I can burn your house down and fire at you. I dare you, come out here),” Olbedo told the police.
