AKLAN – A 14-year-old girl from Barangay Jugas, New Washington town died following a motorcycle accident on Tuesday evening, April 30.
The accident occurred in Barangay Mataphao, New Washington as the girl was riding on a motorcycle driven by her brother-in-law en route to a fair in Barangay Nalook.
A dog ran across their path, causing the motorcycle to wobble and the girl to be ejected from the vehicle.
She sustained serious head injuries after falling onto the pavement.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
Her brother-in-law, who also sustained injuries in the incident, was treated and released from the hospital./PN
