BACOLOD City – On Sunday, a 19-year-old girl who tried to pacify a commotion between her uncle and another man was hacked.
Merilyn Labado, a resident of Purok 8, Barangay Alangilan, Bacolod City, sustained a hack wound on her right arm after she was hit by a scythe.
According to police investigation, Labado tried to pacify a heated argument between her uncle, Reynaldo Estosata, and Jowel Toledo, 38.
Toledo tried to hack Estosata but hit Labado instead.
The suspect fled after the incident./PN
