BACOLOD City – An 18-year-old man allegedly shot his neighbor around 10 p.m. on Sunday in Barangay Macasilao, Calatrava town.
Police identified the suspect as Anthony Duran. He escaped after the shooting.
Investigation showed that Duran used an improvised 12-gauge shotgun to shoot Angelito Elardo. The victim, who sustained wounds on his left chest, died on the spot.
Superintendent Gil Flores said they will file murder charges against Duran.
Police operatives are still investigating the motive of the killing./PN
