BACOLOD City – A teenager and two others were arrested in a buy-bust operation of Police Station 8 at around 1:32 a.m. yesterday, April 27, in Purok Greenfield, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.
Arrested were a 14-year-old girl from this city’s Barangay 14; Jade Babaran, 48, a high-value suspect; and his son Jadelle Clyde, 27, both residents of Barangay Tangub.
Confiscated were 14 sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing more or less 55 grams and valued at P374,000, and P500 in marked money.
Police said the father and son were being detained at the police station, while the minor was turned over to the custody of the Social Development Center.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the Babarans./PN
