BACOLOD City – Seventeen sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P37,000 were recovered in a buy-bust operation in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2.
Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old resident Juan Carlos Pelleja.
Pelleja was nabbed after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 10:30 p.m. on May 27.
He was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 2, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
