MANILA – Terrence Romeo could see himself donning another jersey in the upcoming 2019 PBA season after he was placed on the trading block by the TNT KaTropa.
A source told Panay News that numerous teams have expressed interest in acquiring the services of the former Gilas Pilipinas player, including three-time All-Filipino Cup champions San Miguel Beermen.
The Beermen is reportedly offering reserves Brian Heruela, David Semerad and the team’s 2019 and 2020 first round draft pick to get the temperamental Romeo.
KaTropa have seen enough of the former Far Eastern University Tamaraws star after he got absence without leave from the team the past two weeks.
Romeo is also reportedly at odds with his teammates Jayson Castro and Roger Pogoy, to whom he nearly come to blows during one of their practice session.
It was not the first time that Romeo is to be traded due to be behavior after being traded away by NorthPort Batang Pier earlier this year to KaTropa for having an on-court shouting match with head coach Alfredo Jarencio.
Romeo had averages of 21.44 points, 3.44 rebounds and 5.22 assists during the Governors’ Cup but he still failed to steer the KaTropa to playoffs round./PN
