‘The kids are not all right’

LET’S talk about this seemingly never-ending insurgency problem plaguing our country for more than half a century. We focus on the very cause why this insurgency problem doesn’t seem to run out of “cannon fodder” or as Vladimir Lenin calls them “useful idiots”. Contrary to popular belief the main cause of the insurgency problem is not the lack of basic social services and livelihood in the far-flung barangays as that’s successfully addressed by the Whole of Nation approach and Barangay Development Program of the NTF-ELCAC despite the efforts of the opposition in the senate and congress to defund this very important task force.

What has been giving fuel to this insurgency problem are the misguided and restless youth who fancy themselves “wokes” in the universities and colleges, who without any directions in life but bursting with hormones were manipulated by their aging professors to act out their fantasies as “revolutionaries” espousing an obsolete and irrelevant ideology i.e. communism, long rejected by the very country that started this nonsense in favor of capitalism.

Meanwhile excerpts from an article by Fr. Ranhilio Callangan Aquino in the November 7, 2022 issue of The Manila Times:

Abduction of students

Prowling about in our college and university campuses are lackeys of Joma Sison and his ilk, ever on the lookout for gullible youngsters to abduct for their bankrupt cause. Hieing their victims off to their mountain lairs, they wreck their future and shatter the dreams of their families, making of each of their recruits hardly anything more than brigands like themselves sought and wanted by law enforcers and agents of the state.

It is rather pathetic that these “usefull idiots” find it trendy and fashionable supporting these insurgents just because they hate President Rodrigo Duterte – and now President Bongbong Marcos – are most probably not even aware that the democratic space they enjoy now and their lifestyle will end when the CPP/NPA/NDF do win and take control of this country.

Ahay, no more Frappuccino or Salted Caramel Macchiato for these woke social climbers when Joma Sison and company take over as they’ll be sent to re-indoctrination camps to cleanse them of their self-induced bourgeois attitude and mentality.

And we segue to excerpts from a November 16, 2022 editorial of the Daily Tribune:

Communists and the UP presidency

If the next UP President is not a communist or a red sympathizer, then the communists may be hard put to exploiting UP campuses and resources, and may lose their traditional source of recruits.

The Board of Regents of the University of the Philippines is expected to elect a new UP President this December.

As expected, the communists are eyeing the UP presidency. They want either a communist or a radical to seize power in UP.

The communists have so much at stake at UP.

For one, communists use the UP campuses for recruiting young, gullible college students to do away with their schooling and join the local communist movement. Recruitment is done stealthily through campus organizations, dormitories, and boarding houses.

In many instances, faculty members themselves pave the way for the recruitment of unsuspecting students.

The new, brainwashed recruits are then directed to fight it out with military operatives in remote areas of the country. Many are killed and return home in makeshift coffins.

UP campuses offer a haven for anti-government rallies and radical symposia. Most of these activities do not require a permit and are often done using UP facilities free of charge. Holding an activity inside a UP campus also gives that activity a disputable semblance of intellectual respectability.

Communists in UP also bask in the knowledge that the UP administration does not allow pro-government rallies, events, and gatherings inside the UP campuses.

UP campuses also host many “safehouses” for communist cadres, Communist influence among many UP students is obvious.

Three candidates for UP President are reportedly communists’ allies/enablers, while another candidate agitated the “defend UPLB” nonsense.

And finally, another candidate with unquestionable communists’ pedigree, the son of a former UP President completes the cast.

All in the guise of “critical thinking”, indeed, the kids are not all right./PN
