AND THE “devotees to the cult of the yellow ribbon” and their stupid by-products woke up the morning after Sept. 21; with body malaise, some having the onset of a cold or fever, most probably a headache (usually happens when you stand like an idiot in the pouring rain) only to find out that Rodrigo Duterte is still President.
Add to that misery is the thought that Leila “frailties of a woman” is still in jail, Meilou Sereno the “never was and not former” Chief Justice has become an insignificant blip, the coward Antonio Trillanes IV is hiding under Senate President Tito Sotto’s drawers and the “never again” rally failed as expected compounded by heavy rains.
It must be terribly uncomfortable to be drenched to the bones while in full priestly and nun costume or sexy and titillating depending on one’s sexual preference and orientation.
Ah the “wet look” reminiscent of Gloria Diaz’s Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa.
The usual suspects i.e. that nincompoop Noynoy Aquino, the barefoot lady from Naga Leni Robredo, Mr. “Sharon Cuneta”…err…Kiko Pangilinan; the portly Franklin Drilon of the Iloilo Convention Center fame including the archbishops were all warm and dry inside the chapel of De La Salle University while the rest of the “devotees to the cult of the yellow ribbon” were out there standing in the pouring rain in Mendiola.
To think that these fools standing in the pouring rain were doing it in the hope that somehow President Duterte will step down and give it to those assholes comfortable and dry inside the chapel.
At least “That’s Entertainment” alumni now senator Risa Hontiveros joined the “devotees to the cult of the yellow ribbon” in the rain. Of course somebody was holding an umbrella for her.
Since 1986 every Sept. 21 the recurring theme has always been against the dictator and the late president Ferdinand Marcos and, of course, “never again” to Martial Law.
It’s already boring. Marcos has been dead for 30 years and his corpse has not in any shape or form made life miserable in these islands for the last 30 years.
On the contrary for the last 30 years it is the so-called saint Cory Aquino, the first in the line of incompetent Presidents, and her nincompoop son Noynoy, the second in the line of incompetents, that made life miserable in these islands.
But of course I could be wrong here as during the time of the Aquinos, particularly Noynoy’s watch, life was good and profitable for his barkadas and “shooting buddies” and all those politicians whose wardrobe consists only of yellow-colored apparel.
While the rest of the natives just suffered in quiet desperation.
The “never again” battle cry (I don’t think it even qualifies as one) is so lame that it is more a shrill whimper from a cuckooed housewife who just found out her husband is two-timing her with the labandera.
If by that “never again” they mean the incompetent idiots now occupying the Senate then yes or another Aquino then again yes.
The so-called opposition is now populated by idiots (an idiot is someone who knows the truth yet still refuses to believe it) has-beens desperate to be relevant who literally are suffering from erectile dysfunction as in Tindig Pilipinas”, trendy social climbers feeling revolutionary espousing an obsolete ideology and your usual corrupt politicians who made a pile during that nincompoop’s time and got addicted to the easy money.
I need not mention any particular name but if you feel that I am describing you (of course you refuse to admit it) then you’re that idiot.
What was interesting and quite amusing in a perverted sort of way was “That’s Entertainment” alumni and self-proclaimed “child activist” (she claimed she was fighting Martial Law when she was six years old) Sen. Risa Hontiveros’ presence in last Friday’s “never again” rally.
She was shouting that she is against Martial Law and “never again” and all that nonsense.
Let me park this excerpt from the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines, Article VII Executive Department, Section 18: The President shall be the Commander-in-Chief of all armed forces of the Philippines and whenever it becomes necessary, he may call out such armed forces to prevent or suppress lawless violence, invasion or rebellion. In case of invasion or rebellion, when the public safety requires it, he may, for a period not exceeding sixty days, suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus or place the Philippines or any part thereof under martial law.
So I am sure without any doubt that Martial Law is very much legal and constitutional and take note,
this is the so-called Cory constitution framed by her handpicked people including priests and nuns.
These are the very same people who started this “never again” yet they included it in their 1987 Constitution. This is also the Constitution that former Chief Justice Hilario Davide is willing to die for.
So if Martial Law is “evil” why did they include it in Cory’s constitution?
By the way, Risa Hontiveros is a senator and her main job is to legislate and make laws she can also propose amendments to the laws of the land i.e. the Constitution. In short if she believes that Martial Law is “evil” and “never again” she can simply propose an amendment to remove Section 18 of the 1987 Constitution.
But she’s a third-rate nincompoop who’s probably not even aware that she can do that. (brotherlouie16@gmail.com/PN)
