BACOLOD City – A 25-year-old was collared after allegedly stealing a cellular phone at Saint Vincent Subdivision in Barangay 1, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Suspect Webber Otocan was a resident of the locality and is currently in the custody of the local police.
Victim Carl Jefferson Vaflor, 19, alleged that the suspect stole his phone at around 8:15 p.m. on July 9.
After learning of the incident, several bystanders held the suspect and turned over the latter to the responding police officers.
The cellular phone amounting to P20,000 was recovered from the Otocan./PN
