for seven years, a theft suspect was cornered in Barangay Poblacion, Banga, Aklan.
The 47-year-old Rose Evangillo of Barangay Boulevard, Molo, Iloilo City was taken to the Banga police station around 9:40 a.m. on May 22.
The warrant for the suspect’s arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Alicia Cruz-Barrios of the Municipal Trial Court in Kalibo, Aklan.
For the suspect’s temporary liberty, the court set the bail bond at P12,000.
It was unclear if Evangillo was able to post bail as of this writing./PN
