ILOILO City – A man was nabbed for stealing a wallet in Barangay Roxas Village, City Proper.
The 23-year-old Alex Dimasuay of Barangay Cansilayan, Dumangas, Iloilo was arrested after he stole a wallet containing P450 cash and documents, a police report showed.
Police identified the victim as 68-year-old Zenaida Nevera of Makati City.
According to the police, Dimasuay snatched Nevera’s wallet and fled.
But a security guard chased and caught him around 9:15 p.m. on July 13, the report added.
Dimasuay was detained in the lockup cell of the Iloilo City Police Station 1, facing a theft charge./PN
