ILOILO City – Police arrested two persons in Barangay Lopez Jaena Norte, La Paz district.
They were identified as 23-year-old Mae Martinez of Barangay Don Esteban, La Paz and 39-year-old John Anthony Javier of Quezon Street, City Proper.
Martinez and Javier were facing a qualified theft charge.
Officers of the La Paz police station caught them on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12:45 p.m. on May 8.
Martinez and Javier were detained in the district police station lockup cell.
The court recommended a P24,000 bail bond for each of the suspect./PN
