CAPIZ – Three individuals were injured after they figured in a road accident around 12:10 a.m. yesterday, August 23, in Pueblo de Panay, Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.
Police said construction worker Heaven Venancio, 25, and a resident of the city’s Rizal Street, Barangay VII; Rey Santiago, 32; and Marvin Breno, 22, sustained minor injuries and were recuperating at a hospital.
According to the Roxas City Police Station, the motorcycle-riding Venancio was on his way to Barangay Lawaan when he was suddenly hit by another motorcycle following him driven by Santiago with Breno as his backrider.
Medical response team of the city’s Bureau of Fire protection immediately responded and brought the victims to a hospital.
The two motorcycles were taken into custody by the Roxas City Police Station./PN
