ILOILO City – Three suspects were arrested and approximately P204,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.
The suspects were identified as Kenneth Matanga, 31, and Ethel Mae Horario, both residents of Barangay Duran, City Proper, and John Paul Elio, 34, from Belison, Antique.
The operation was carried out by the joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6 and Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) 6 on Tuesday night, July 30.
The suspect yielded a total of eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 30 grams and P8,000 in buy-bust money.

The suspects were detained at the Mandurriao police station. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
