ILOILO – Three most wanted persons, two regional-level and one municipal-level, were arrested by police authorities on Monday, Dec. 11.
Elements of Batan Municipal Police Station (MPS) collared alias “Rogelio,” the No. 3 most wanted person in the region, at 10:40 a.m. in Barangay Alipata, Sicogon, Carles.
Rogelio was also the No. 1 provincial-level and No. 3 municipal-level wanted person.
His arrest warrants for rape and acts of lasciviousness with no bail recommended were signed by Hon. Bienvinido P. Barrios Jr., Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) 6, Branch 3 in Kalibo, Aklan.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Poblacion, San Rafael, alias “Vien,” was arrested at 9:02 a.m. for three counts of rape.
Vien was tagged as the No. 7 regional-level most wanted person.
Elements of San Rafael MPS served the arrest warrants with no bail recommended by Hon. Oscar Leo S. Billena, Presiding Judge of RTC 6, Branch 70 in Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
Around 3 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion, Panitan, Capiz, a 49-year-old wanted man was apprehended by the police.
Alias “Enecito” is charged with malicious mischief, signed by Hon. Judge Socorro Rapiz-Oliveros, Presiding Judge of the Municipal Trial Court, on Dec. 5, 2023.
The court recommended a P2,000 bail for Enecito’s temporary release./PN
