PEOPLE are and always will be the greatest assets of a successful company. Every employee is an important member of the team and each of their abilities and contributions are an important part of the continued success of the company.
Panay News has been in the business for 41 years, spreading factual information that educate, move, and inspire the readers. The company was founded by Daniel “Danny” Gumban Fajardo along with his wife Maria “Mary” Santillan on April 7, 1981.
It is hailed as the No. 1 or most preferred newspaper in this part of the country and it continues to expand its reach via the digital platform. And as it does so, Panay News always ensures the safety and welfare of its people who take pride and carry the brand and company spirit.
On Dec. 23, 2021, several employees were recognized for their dedicated years of service.
For the Five Years Loyalty Award, Ms. Caryl Espada, Panay News general manager, and Ricardo Jabonilla Jr. are the awardees.
The Ten Years Loyalty Awardees were Chief Operating Officer Daniel Fajardo II and Ma. Daneli Salonga, the Panay News Vice President for Finance.
The Fifteen Years Loyalty Award was received by Lechelle Bonito and Edmar Viado.
The Twenty One Years Loyalty Award recipient was Edgar Abunas, while Rex Maestrecampo, the Panay News editor-in-chief, got the Twenty Five Years Loyalty Award.
Finally, Elizabeth Bernardo, accounts executive, received the Thirty-Five Years Loyalty Award.
This service milestone in their career with Panay News serves as proof of their dedication and hard work. It also shows how the company appreciates them.
To keep the party going, employees dance to their heart’s content with the impromptu ‘Zumba’ class prepared by energetic, creative and witty host of the night, Marketing Manager Leahlyn Fajardo.
