ILOILO City – Just two months into 2022, the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) already seized over million pesos worth of shabu.
“Expect more drug peddlers and drug pushers to be arrested kay damo na naga-tip sa aton,” said Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, RDEU chief.
The goal, he said, is, “As much as possible wala pa nila ma-distribute dakpon na naton.”
“I appreciate the public’s giving us information. Amo na damo kita kuha nga drugs kag dakop,” said Darroca. “Damo nagahatag report.”
In RDEU’s radar are “high-value individuals” (HVIs) in Iloilo city and province. Darroca, however, declined to give names so as not to jeopardize RDEU’s monitoring of them.
“If a certain drug pusher naka-agi dakop, na-detain, nag-plea bargaining agreement, kag daku ang volume sang drugs sa possession ‘ya, ma-consider naton nga HVI,” said Darroca./PN
