MANILA – TNT Tropang Giga guard Bobby Ray Parks Jr. is doubtful to play in Game 2 of their 2020 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup finals against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings on Wednesday due to an injury.

The Filipino-American guard sustained a left calf strain after going down in Tropang Giga’s 100-94 Game 1 defeat to the Kings at the AUF Sports Arena and Cultural Center in Pampanga on Sunday night.

Parks, 27, apparently aggravated the injury he initially suffered early in the bubble tournament. He still ended up with 20 points in a losing cause for the Tropang Giga.

TNT, however, is hopeful that the former National University Bulldogs standout will be able to suit up for them in Game 3 on Friday.

With the possible absence of former Texas Legends guard, Ilonggo mentor Ferdinand “Bong” Ravena is likely to rely on Roger Pogoy, Ryan Reyes, Samboy de Leon, and Rodolfo Alejandro to fill the spot./PN
