BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead in Barangay Bug-ang, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
He was 48-year-old resident Jerry Chua Canania, a police report showed.
According to the police, an unidentified suspect shot Canania inside his store using an unknown firearm around 6:30 p.m. on July 26.
Canania was brought to the Alfredo Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sagay Ciy, Negros Occidental where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
