BACOLOD City – A man allegedly beat his own brother to death using a steal pipe in Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Killed was 26-year-old Marjon Baron. He sustained injuries on the head, police said.
His younger brother Joemar,19, was tagged as the suspect. Both were construction workers in the said village.
Police investigators said Marjon was having coffee inside the compound of their barracks when Joemar hit him with a steel pipe several times. It was not immediately established what was the motive in the incident.
Marjon was rushed to the Talisay City Health Center where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Joemar, meanwhile, was detained in the Talisay City police station’s custodial facility. Charges will be filed against him./PN
