ILOILO – Three heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of P6,800 were recovered from a tokhang surrenderee following a buy-bust operation around 12:00 in the morning of Sept. 15 in Oton town here.
The suspect was identified as Johnny Galaraga, alias “Boying”, 36, of Brgy. Poblacion, Oton, according to Police Major Fernan Limbungan, chief of the Oton Municipal Police Station (MPS).
Galaraga, tagged as street level individual, returned to doing illegal drug activities and was being monitored by police.
Joint elements of the Oton MPS and Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company also recovered the P2,000 in buy-bust money.
Galaraga is now in the custody of the Oton MPS and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
