TOM Rodriguez said he is ready to love again as he revealed he is courting a new girl, two years after his highly publicized breakup with former wife Carla Abellana.
During his interview on “24 Oras” on Thursday, Feb. 29, Rodriguez shared that he is currently dating someone and affirmed his readiness for love the second time around.
“Yeah, I am now. In fact, I am seeing someone,” he said. “Once I was ready, it came at the right time. At that point, I thought it would never happen again.”
The “My Husband’s Lover” actor underscored that he wants to keep the identity of the girl he’s seeing private for now.
“Magdadamot ako yata. Like what I said, I really want to keep it to myself. But like I said, I’ll live my life like how it is. So, eventually siguro everyone would — what they see is what they get. But for now, it’s my own now,” he remarked.
Rodriguez said that he is not keen on seeing his ex-wife again even if Abellana said in a past interview that it would be okay for her if ever their paths cross again.
The Kapuso actor said that during his two-year stay in the US following his split from Abellana, he developed greater faith in the Lord and discovered the importance of living a simple life.
