ILOILO City – Three residents engaging in illegal gambling were arrested on Thursday in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district.
They were Judy Jagodilla, 51, Allan Bustamante, 40, and Jomarie Bacabac, 62.
Police chanced upon them playing tong-its around 6:50 p.m.
Recovered from them were P390 bet money and a deck of playing cards.
Charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling would be filed against the suspects.
They were taken to the Jaro police station./PN
