HE was the one who gave unsolicited advice when he got into a heated confrontation with a netizen last month. But over the past weekend, it was Luis Manzano who found himself on the receiving end of some playful tips – this time, about dating women.
It was right before the start of an “ASAP” segment that retells inspiring real-life love stories. The segment had host Jolina Magdangal pick a number ala-bingo style, each with a corresponding story.
And after seeing a giant bingo card, their co-host Toni Gonzaga, who was once courted by Manzano, just could not help but quip: “Tandaan mo iyan, Luis. Ang bingo lang ang binobola, hindi babae.”
Not that Manzano needed reminding as he clearly, at the moment, only has eyes for his girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola, whom he has been dating for more than two years already.
To celebrate their second anniversary together back in June, the couple even went to Europe for a romantic sojourn.
For his anniversary message, he wrote of Mendiola: “Thank you for being the best travel partner, dive buddy (even if nanghahabol ka ng barracuda) and howhow in life.”
He added: “I always thank God you went to my birthday party 2 years ago (kahit na ayaw mo naman talaga) I howhow you!!” (ABS-CBN News)
