BACOLOD City – The Sangguniang Panlungsod congratulated Adrian Christian Obere Amata, a graduate of University of Saint La Salle-Bacolod, for placing 17th in the October 2018 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination.
Councilor Dindo Ramos, a CPA-lawyer, said the CPA licensure exam is “among the hardest licensure examinations in the country.”
He added that Amata – a cum laude Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate – brought pride to Bacolod when he topped the exam.
Amata graduated valedictorian at the Handumanan National High School and the Handumanan Elementary School.
According to Ramos, Amata’s “achievement of garnering a place in a national licensure examination deserves to be given recognition and commendation by the City of Bacolod.”/PN
