ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) is revamping police provincial directors and municipal police chiefs.
Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO)) director Police Colonel Roland Vilela will be leaving this month for another assignment while the director of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, will be retiring next month.
According to Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan, regional police director, Vilela, only in his sixth month of duty at the IPPO, will become the Philippines’ police attaché in California , USA.
The PRO-6 is also looking for a new Chief of the Directorial Staff; Police Colonel Marlon Tayaba filed a leave of absence for health reasons.
Pamuspusan said some municipal police chiefs would also be relieved from their posts either for promotion, schooling or retirement.
“In the most recent performance evaluation, town police chiefs, provincial and city police directors did well. Wala naman akong maipintas. I’m satisfied with their performance,” Pamuspusan added./PN
