BACOLOD City — A market vendor has been held up at gunpoint in Sitio Maba-og, Barangay Bantayan, Kabankalan City.
Three suspects waylaid Danilo Liza, 32, of Cauayan town and forced him to give them P7,000 on Sunday.
Onboard their motorcycles, the suspects fled after divesting Liza of his earnings from selling goods at the village market.
They were armed with a homemade shotgun, locally known as pugakhang, and a .45-caliber pistol, police said.
Supt. Salvador Dagoon, Kabankalan police chief, said they have already identified the suspects but refused to disclose their names.
All he said was that the perpetrators already have arrest warrants for the same offense./PN
