BACOLOD City – An enforcer of the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) allegedly jumped off a bridge in Barangay Alijis.

Miguel Biñas was assigned at the Panaad Park in the nearby Barangay Mansilingan to regulate traffic during the Panaad sa Negros, according to BTAO head Superintendent Luisito Acebuche.

Biñas, a 26-year-old married resident of Barangay Bata, was taken to a hospital. He had injuries on the right leg and the forehead.

Acebuche said they tried to make Biñas narrate what happened, but to no avail. “Parang wala siya (Biñas) sa sarili, tulalà lang siya,” he said.

It was around 11 a.m. on Monday when Acebuche received a report that a traffic enforcer jumped off the bridge./PN
