BACOLOD City – A man was arrested for transporting charcoal in Barangay Poblacion, Batad, Iloilo.
The 40-year-old Noli Carnaje was a resident of Barangay Botongon, Estancia, Iloilo, police said.
He was caught transporting 10 sacks of charcoal using a tricycle – and allegedly without permit – on the night of Jan. 28, a police report showed.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Batad police station./PN
