ILOILO City – Mayor Jerry Treñas called on Ilonggos to continue to unite for the city’s progress.
“Sa mga pinalangga ko nga mga Ilonggo, aton padayunon ang pagbinuligay para sa padayun nga kauswagan sang aton syyudad,” Treñas said in his 2023 Christmas message.
He added, “Like the vibrant Christmas trees and lanterns, let us all shine bright together as one community and ever before here in the City of Love, Iloilo City.”
The city mayor also extended his holiday greetings and gratitude to the Ilonggos.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude for all of your unwavering support and cooperation, which have been instrumental in our city’s progress. I firmly believe that our collective efforts have made Iloilo City what it is today,” Treñas said.
He also assured that he would continue to work tirelessly for the welfare of the city residents.
“Let us all celebrate this Yuletide season with full of love, hope, and joy in our hearts. I wish everyone a joyous and prosperous Christmas,” Treñas added./PN
