Tribu Paghidaet is Dinagyang 2025 champion

ILOILO City – Tribu Paghidaet of La Paz National High School emerged as the grand champion of the 2025 Dinagyang Festival tribes competition. 

Their performance, which revolved around the Tree of Life, symbolized the deep relationship between humanity and nature, celebrating the sacred bond that connects the community to the continuous cycle of life.

Tribu Paghidaet received a P1.2 million cash prize and a trophy.

Tribu Pan-ay of Fort San Pedro National High School, last year’s grand champion, claimed the first runner-up spot for P700,000 prize and a trophy.

Tribu Ilonganon of Jalandoni Memorial National High School placed second runner-up and took home P500,000 and a trophy, while Tribu Salognon of Jaro National High School earned the third runner-up position with a prize of P300,000 and a trophy.

* People’s Choice Award – Tribu Parianon nga naga Silak of Molo District (P10,000)

* Best in Discipline – Tribu Pan-ay of Fort San Pedro National High School (P10,000)

Technical Awards

* Best in Street Dance – Tribu Ilonganon (P10,000)

* Best in Costume Design and Headdress – Tribu Paghidaet (P10,000)

In the Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan 2025, the Tultugan Festival of Maasin, Iloilo emerged as the grand champion, showcasing an extraordinary performance that captivated the audience and earned multiple awards.

Their victory came with a cash prize of P1.2 million and a trophy.

Tultugan Festival’s mastery of choreography and production design solidified its dominance in this year’s competition.

Meanwhile, Tribu Jalaud of Hirinugyaw – Suguidadonay Festival from Calinog was awarded first runner-up, taking home P700,000 and a trophy, alongside multiple Special Awards, including Best in Discipline, Best in Street Dancing, and Best in Costume.

The Kaing Festival of Leon was named second runner-up and received P500,000 and a trophy, while also securing the People’s Choice Award.

Meanwhile, Bailes de Luces from La Castellana, Negros Occidental emerged as the grand champion in the ILOmination Philippine Light Festival competition.

Their captivating performance, highlighted by an impressive display of lights, creative choreography, and stunning costume and production designs, earned them the P500,000 cash prize and a trophy. 

In addition to claiming the championship, Bailes de Luces swept several special awards, including Best in Music, Best in Production Design, and Best in Light Design, solidifying their dominance in the competition.

The Tanglawan Festival from San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, finished as the first runner-up and took home P300,000. Their performance also won the Best in Music award, showcasing their exceptional talent and rhythm.

Pavurrulun Afi Festival from Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, secured second place, earning P200,000 for their vibrant and engaging performance.

The technical awards in the ILOmination were as follows:

* Best in Performance – Tanglawan Festival from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan

* Best in Choreography – Bailes de Luces of La Castellana, Negros Occidental

* Best in Music – Tanglawan Festival from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan

* Best in Lighted Costume Design – Bailes de Luces of La Castellana, Negros Occidental

In Sadsad sa Calle Real 2025, the major awards were:

* Champion – Tribu Familia Sagasa (P150,000 and a trophy)

* First Runner-Up – Tribu Yrong-Yrong

* Second Runner-Up – Tribu Panaad (P75,000 and a trophy)

The Technical Awards in Sadsad sa Calle Real 2025 are:

* Best in Costume and Design and Headdress – Tribu Familia Sagasa (P10,000 and a trophy)

* Best in Music – Tribu Familia Sagasa (P10,000 and a trophy)

* Best in Choreography – Tribu Yrong-yrong (P10,000 and a trophy)/PN
